Aidan's Smile Fund

Donation protected
Aidan is 26 years old (he's the one in the middle with the biggest smile)

Aidan is a ski instructor and freestyle coach and his biggest passion is teaching children and young adults to learn how to ski and freestyle.

On the 10th December 2014, at the age of 24 whilst he was in Australia Aidan was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma (a very rare and aggressive bone cancer) in his left fibula. He came back to the UK to face 18 months of gruelling chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgery.
Initially the treatment and operation seemed successful, he built back up his strength and even started training with the Para Olympic ski team....
.....and on June 19th 2016 he packed his ski bag and headed off back to the 'love of his life'...the snow!

Devastatingly, on March 3rd 2017 we were told the cancer had returned, with a tumour in his neck and bone marrow metastases throughout, the NHS has no more treatment they can offer him and his life expectancy is short. It's just been a few days since this diagnosis and at the time of launching this page we are desperately searching for some pioneering treatment - there HAS to be something out there (and when we find something we will put the goal up to what we need).

In the meantime, we need to make sure that Aidan has the funds and to do whatever he wants and needs to do in the next few months. His bucket list is simple, he wants to spend time with those he loves and he loves watching sunsets. We'd love to get him to some frigging amazing places to watch those sunsets and make some lovely memories with his family.

Any money raised that Aidan doesn't need will be used to help others smile- that will make Aidan smile too, because that's the type of guy he is.

We can't even begin to convey what Aidan means to our world.

Aidan's attitude has been a lesson to us all.  No one except him, his immediate family, nurses and doctors could even start to understand what Aidan has been through and not only has he continued to smile, he's been the strength and inspiriation for everyone around him.
