Safe water for Flint
Donation protected
I live in Lansing now, but I have many friends and family in Flint. Quite a few with young children. So when I heard the story about lead in the Flint water, it felt really personal.
Flint switched from Detroit water to using their own Flint river as a water source in April 2014. Since then, the water quality has declined. The water was cloudy, people complained of a funny taste and smell. They were told to boil water and given filters. Yet, nothing was done until children started going to doctors and finding extremely elevated lead levels,
There are children who already have irreversible damage, but I would like to do what I can to help so that it doesn't continue. Let's give the kids, elderly, and everybody in between safe drinking water.
I am accepting donations of cases and gallons of unopened water. If you are too far to drop off or have me pick up, you can donate funds and I can buy them to take over.
For water donations, feel free to contact me at [email redacted] or [email redacted].
Any and all donations will be appreciated.
