Contra Ataque Latino Scholarship

Contra Ataque means counter attack in Spanish. With this soccer based scholarship, our mission is to inspire and motivate soccer players to continue playing in college and higher levels and to continue their education. We aim to counter attack the norms or stereo types of our neighborhoods and culture of women not playing sports or guys going straight to work after high, school as well as the negative image media gives minorities. Every year one guy and girl from the Curie High School Soccer team will receive a scholarship to help out with either books or tuition at the school they will attend that fall. I'm hoping to have all of your support for this great cause, and let's start motivation this generation to pursue their dreams and continue their education!
