Toby's Dental Surgery

Meow! My name is Toby, and I'm 13 years old. I adopted my mom when I was three weeks old. I had a rough beginning; I hitched a ride in a car engine on a cold day, so I was separated from my feline mom way too early. We believe that has a lot to do with my various health issues over the last few years.

Today, I have a mouth that needs help. I need a basic dental, but more critically, I have this nasty thing called resorptive lesions. Caused by teeth being reabsorbed into my jaw, and it's as nasty as it sounds. The cure is extraction - but if I'm REALLY unlucky, Mom says I will also need the vet to drill into my jaw.  Can you imagine??

Anyway, the price tag is high; $1,225 could end up being the cost, though we hope for less. That includes special dental X-rays, bloodwork, cleaning, etc. The whole package.  We know that it's asking a lot of people to help us with this, and we feel really badly about that. There is just so much need out there, everywhere you look, and it's hard to add to that now.  

We are thankful for whatever you might be able to spare; and always, always thankful for purrayers and good thoughts for my procedure and recovery.
