Hello,
My name is John Nguyen. I graduated from Forest Park High School with leadership club FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) and also health/sciences HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America). I am from Marietta, GA. Recently living in Forest Park, GA. The reason why I'm raising this money is because my parents are happening to be in a financial crisis. Trying to do what they can to pay for their son's tuition for college. I am a student at Georgia Gwinnett College attending this fall 2015 as a Nursing major. I need all the help that you can give me. As a student in the state of Georgia I am not eligible for aid during my first semester, so I'm relying on scholarships, and certain loans to help pay for my college tuition.
One goal I want to achieve is to earn the Gates Millennium Scholarship and to make my parents proud. I don't want them to suffer the pain from years ago borrowing money from banks and now still paying it. My father however, is still in debt and he is making his way up to pay all of his loans.
Both of my parents did not happen to go to college. They moved to America to pursue a better life. Which is having the access to education. I want to give my parents the gift that they have never gotten before. As thier son continues futher into education, they couldn't be prouder than they already are.
