My family is so torn apart, and we could use your help. Many have asked how they can help, and here it is...
I'd like to act like we have everything together, but we do not. We lost our mother four years ago, our dad three weeks ago, and now our brother. He was just 19. We haven't been able to make the financial arrangements to get my dad's ashes, and now we have to figure out the logistics of my brother's funeral and so, so much more.
Trenton turned in his two week notice at his saw mill job. He was moving to Columbia to live with us, and he was SO excited. I told him to just come on up, but he was adamant that he wanted to finish out his two weeks and leave on good terms. Today (7/18/16) while he was at work, an accident happened that caused a log to fly out of a chute and hit him in the head. He suffered a traumatic brain injury. CPR was conducted on him until EMS arrived. EMS life flighted him to Joplin Mercy hospital, where Trent died from his injuries.
Our small, small family is so devastated by this tragic event. I know a lot of Trent's friends are in disbelief. Please say a prayer for us as we attempt to make sense of this, and if you can donate anything at all, it would be appreciated beyond comprehension.
