Help Fund a Healing Summer Camp for Autistic Children in Nablus Refugee Camps
Goal: $2,000 | 100% Free for Families | July 2025
Salaam and hello friends,
My name is Hanan Hamed, and I’m the CEO of Autism Superhero Palestine, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit working to support autistic children and their families across Palestine. You can learn more about our work at www.autismsuperpali.org.
Next month, we’re organizing a two-week summer camp in the refugee camps of Nablus — including Balata, Askar, and Al-Ein — to serve 30 children, half of whom are autistic, and the other half their siblings.
These autistic children live in communities under constant military invasion, and most have gone without school or services for over 18 months. Many are experiencing trauma, isolation, and neglect. Our camp is designed to provide a space for healing, joy, creativity, and support — at no cost to their families.
What the Camp Offers:
Art & Music Therapy Sessions
Family Support Groups (for mothers and siblings)
Physical Activities and Games
Educational Videos & Discussions about Autism
️ One-Day Field Trip to a Local Water Park
Final Day Party and Celebration
Where Your Donation Goes:
We are seeking to raise $2,000 to cover:
Art and sensory supplies
Daily snacks and drinks for the children
Transportation for volunteers and families
Water park field trip expenses
Educational resources for siblings and parents
Last-day summer celebration
All the logistics to ensure this camp is safe, inclusive, and joyful
All funds go directly toward making this program 100% FREE for families, many of whom are experiencing extreme economic hardship under the ongoing occupation.
✨ How You Can Help:
Donate — any amount brings us closer to our goal
Share this campaign with your friends and networks
Keep these children and families in your prayers
We believe every child deserves dignity, care, and a space to thrive. This camp will offer a rare and much-needed moment of peace and joy to children who have gone far too long without either.
With love and gratitude,
Hanan Hamed
