LVtoLA is a fundraising effort in the Lehigh Valley community to send money to support

relief efforts in the Los Angeles community as fires destroy their lives. This campaign was born out of the simple idea that if I can give $50 and convince 100 friends to do the same, we have made a big difference in people’s lives.

Giving, multiplied

The California Community Foundation’s Wildfire Relief Fund is focused on immediate relief, yet with a long-term recovery and rebuild action plan for the victims of the widespread L.A. wildfire disaster.

These lives will be forever changed and help will be needed for years to come. Consider a regular monthly contribution for as long as you can afford.

With so many of our members coming from these areas, we have all been searching for a way to take the initiative and impact those in need. In the CCF Wildfire Recovery Fund, we have found a worthy organization that has provided over $30 million to communities affected by these disasters since 2003. Their disaster response and recovery initiatives offer essential services such as housing, case management, mental health support, and medical care for individuals displaced by these events. Note from mom and dad: The idea for this fundraiser was created solely by Oliver and Maya after they learned of the wildfires in California (we’re just helping with the logistics!). They immediately wanted to help the displaced families, and after emptying their piggy banks, decided they wanted to do more. We reviewed lists of charities and organizations to be sure that our donations will best reach those in need. Additionally, if any kiddos want to send cards to the firefighters, please reach out. Hello, my name is Mia and I'm 11 years old. I am trying to raise money for the Los Angeles fires. I was born in Pasadena, and lived there until I was four and my old friends still live there.

L.A has been suffering from severe wildfires, and many people have lost their homes; some have lost everything. I am looking for sponsors for my 5k run in March. 100% of what I raise will go to the California Community Foundation.

This foundation supports families who have lost their homes by addressing longterm recovery needs like temporary housing, rebuilding homes, mental health, and medical care.

Hello, my name is Memphis I used to live in the Pacific Palisades during most of my childhood. When I heard that all of my families favourite parks, restaurant's and hiking trails had all been burned in the fire I was devastated. My hometown is now gone due to a terrible wildfire which spread all throughout Los Angeles. Most of our family and friends have been affected by the fire.

My heart goes out to everyone who has been affected.

This is why me and my little brother feel so compelled to help raise money to provide essential items to the victims of the wildfire.

Now that we know the Rams are our opponent and obviously LA is dealing with some seriously crazy stuff right now, I thought it might be nice ahead of the game to offer some help and support LA's way from birds fans (and especially after that horrible fan made life miserable for an opposing Packers fan and went viral for it). This fund is organized by Eagles fans in the Philadelphia area and beyond to benefit the California Community Foundation's Wildfire Relief Fund.

We're still gonna kick the Rams' butts, but there's plenty of people in and around LA (Rams and birds' fans alike) that could use some help right now. I know a lot of the attention is going towards celebrities but there are plenty of everyday people who have lost a lot during this and are risking life and limb to help others.
