DANIEL J. KRAMER

Daniel has been on government assistance for the past 35 years and he has faced many struggles. He has been living in a nursing home for 3 years.

Due to multiple conditions and serious illnesses, Dan has been left in a weakened condition and his body cannot heal.

Daniel has been going to The Chabad House of Fort Myers for many years and he found joy and spiritual fulfillment there with other members of the congregation. Going to Sabbath services on Saturday was the highlight of his week.

In June, Daniel contracted Covid-19 and has been in the hospital on a continuous basis.

Since then, additional medical complications have ravaged his body to the point where he is not expected to recover. Daniel is now in hospice care.

Since Daniel has no money of his own, any help with final expenses would be

such a huge mitzvah. For all who know and love Daniel,

thank you for any contributions you make.

The money goes to benefit Congregation Chevra Kadisha, and any donation will help make an impact.

Our dear friend, Rabbi Avraham Yaakov (“A.J.”) passed away yesterday, after having been in government-funded assisted living for several years. He had absolutely no funds for a Jewish burial. 

He had been living in the SW Florida area for more than a decade and had friends everywhere, including those who knew him from his involvement  at Chabad of Cape Coral and Chabad of Ft Myers. Baruch Hashem, Neshama Foundation, South Florida Jewish Cemetery and the National Association of Chevra Kadisha will ensure a proper burial, but YOU can help us out with the awesome mitzvah of “chesed shel emes.” Whatever you’re able to send would be a tremendous help and a tremendous mitzvah, too!

Keith Alan Jarrett a"h was a good, loving and caring man who happily and wholeheartedly served the Hollywood Jewish community at the local flower stores. He was always quick to share a story or a funny joke.

We, as a community must come together to ensure that he has a proper Jewish burial. The burial is scheduled for noon on Tuesday June 16, 2020 at South Florida Jewish Cemetery. We are trying to raise $6,800 to pay for the funeral, the burial and the monument.
