Dayton FOP 44 is fundraising
Support for the Kessio Family
On 10/5/2023, Dayton Police Recruit Solomon Kessio was struck by a vehicle during a training exercise. He was seriously injured, and although the complete extent of his injuries is unknown, it is likely he will remain hospitalized for some time. Two other recruits and a Dayton Police Sergeant were also injured, but thankfully they have all been treated and released.
The Dayton Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #44 Foundation is accepting donations to assist the Kessio family through this traumatic situation. Donations will help with bills, housing, childcare, and general expenses while Solomon and his wife are unable to work. We hope to be able to alleviate some stress while they focus on Solomon's recovery.
We appreciate the support that has flooded in since the accident. Please contact a Dayton FOP Executive Board member with any questions regarding this fundraiser.
