Free Columbia is a not for profit art and science education initiative in the Hudson Valley. We offer year-long immersive courses and shorter workshops, such as drama and storytelling, shoe making, painting, plant studies and gardening, along with our longer residential "M.C. Richards Program" for young adults.
You can learn more about us and what we do here:
https://www.freecolumbia.org All of our courses are available on a sliding scale, with no pay wall, because we believe opportunities for growth and learning should be available to everyone. To cover course materials and support our teachers we rely on community support as well as student contributions.
We are raising funds to make next year's courses available to anyone who would like to take them, regardless of financial ability.
Could you give to support this core value of accessible education remaining a working reality in Free Columbia? Many gifts combined together go a long way.
With gratitude,
Free Columbia faculty and students
