SAVE LIVES w/ AUTOMATED 3D PRINTED FACE SHIELDS
We are a team of UPenn engineers, alums, and social entrepreneurs who have halted our business operations in order to mass produce personal protective equipment (PPE) for nurses and doctors serving on the front lines of the COVID-19 Crisis. Currently, we're assembling 3,500 face shields / day, with a combination of 3D-printing farm and injection molding mass production of face shields, 24 / 7. HERE'S HOW WE DO IT. Projectshields.org
With the recent surge in COVID-19 cases, our hospitals and medical professionals are in desperate need of additional PPE; especially protective face shields. Your financial assistance will allow us to produce the necessary equipment to meet the surge in COVID-19 cases that are expected in the coming weeks and months.
OUR GOAL & USE OF FUNDS
With your financial assistance, we can produce and distribute at least 60,000 face shields anywhere in the United States. Over the next month, we hope to scale and maintain our operations, while applying to city, state, and federal funding sources to help scale this effort, nationally.
All donations are tax deductible and corporate matchable (see below).

FAQ
What makes this COVID-19 charity effort different? How are you manufacturing the face shields?
We are grateful to have the support of InstaHub's 24/7 automated 3D printing farm and CocoaPress's generous in-kind donations of filament. Both companies have deep expertise in innovative 3D printing. We are 3D printing in sterile conditions with a controlled environment. All processes of production to distribution are handled with gloves and masks to prevent any possible exposure to COVID-19.
