Help us welcome these friendly goats to KC's Historic Northeast! We need help raising money for the goats' food, fencing, and furnishings. We hope to facilitate a safe, inclusive public gathering space around goats and restore an environmentally diverse park for everyone to enjoy.

Keep goats healthy - $25 (40 donors will provide food for 1 year)

Keep goats cozy - $50 (25 donors will support trailer costs)

Keep goats fenced - $100 (15 donors will buy electric fencing)

Keep goats safe - $250 (10 donors will equip safety protection for 1 year)

We recently added six new goats to our Goat Local herd! These goats are used for ecological restoration along Cliff Drive, where they eat and clear out invasive species. Our goats not only create a healthier environment for native plants and wildlife but also increase park visibility and navigability, making it harder for offenders to dump garbage.

So far the goats have helped clear out 2 acres of invasive species and opened up space for 300+ native trees and shrubs to be planted. This fall and winter the goats will continue removing invasive species while us farmers reseed native flowers and grasses. Ecological restoration is slow work, but, with your help, our vision of a healthier and safer Cliff Drive is within reach.

Suggested Donation Amounts:

$25 - Keep the goats cozy (10 donors will cover bedding and trailer modifications)

$50 - Keep the goats fed (25 donors will cover the cost of food for all 11 goats for a year and recover stolen materials)

$500 - Name a goat!!!! (6 available. Contact Jerusalem Farm if interested. First come first serve basis)

These funds will be used to purchase food and bedding for our goats, as well as supplies needed to modify their trailer.
