Holly Blue is a 4.5-month-old kitten born with a congenital defect that affects her ability to defecate properly. Holly Blue needs further medical evaluation and testing to determine next steps/care plan and whether she is a good candidate for surgery. Holly Blue is a happy, playful kitten who has a zest for life and deserves a chance to live. Unfortunately the cost of further testing and vet visits is very expensive, so we need your help!
Scenarios for Holly Blue’s Care:
Scenario #1. If surgery is recommended, donations go towards surgery, testing, postoperative care, post-op complications care
Scenario #2. If we get poor prognosis from CT scan, funds could support Holly’s palliative care so she is as comfortable as possible before she eventually will undergo euthanasia when her health declines and she experiences unmanageable suffering. Any excess funds will go towards a Holly Blue memorial fund to support other Special Needs Little Wanderers cats that require specialized care for challenging medical cases.

More information about Little Wanderers NYC: We rescue sick and injured homeless animals (mostly cats and kittens) out of the most dangerous areas of New York City. Because of this, our veterinary costs are very high. We rehabilitate the animals to find well-screened, loving homes. We also trap, Neuter and Return feral cats, so they keep from reproducing in the community, lessening the suffering of more homeless cats born on the street.
