Lara Ray and I are participating in the "Level Up Games" at our gym, Burn Bootcamp of Poway. Burn is a chain.. and if there is one near, you... you HAVE to check it out!! We are raising money to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Inc., and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to us.

We are so thankful that we have the ability to use our muscles, exercise them, keep them healthy, and become strong. Lara and I love our gym, and nearing 40 in the next few months (she is a little younger than me), we are both the strongest we have EVER BEEN! We are both Navy Spouses, with husbands that are CO's of Destroyers.. and they are gone all the time. Exercise is important to our daily lives not only for our physical/mental health, but for our kids to say, "Our mom is strong!"

This is an association that I've volunteered with at their annual Summer Camp they host at Grizzly Camp Ranch, Portola, California.

I've volunteered for 6 of the last 9 years and it's had such a positive effect on my life, I would love the chance to contribute by doing what I love to do. Party!

We will be hosting fundraiser mini-games at the party however, if you'd like to contribute here, that is great too!

Any money donated here will be directly placed into MDA's Go Fund Me Account, the donations will bypass me entirely.

It is with excitement to be able to train for and run a half marathon, especially in honor of those who can’t. The freedom to run, play, walk, talk, eat and even breathe is a blessing. Each day these freedoms are taken away from children and adults with muscular dystrophy. Please support me as I race in the Red Baron Half Marathon on November 6th while fundraising for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. MDA is an organization that transforms the lives of people with muscular dystrophy, ALS and other related neuromuscular diseases. It helps fund research for treatments and provides families with high-quality health care and support. This organization holds a special place in my heart, as two of my siblings have been diagnosed with Congenital Myasthenia Syndrome.
