This fundraiser is setup to be tax-free for our recipients as Netball America® is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit member-based organization that is in the USA.

Netball America co-founders and directors are rallying together to help support Netball America members and volunteers who have been impacted by the deadly California fires, including Dr Shelley Sykes, who has contributed to Netball America® since 2014 as well as members of the Los Angeles Waves Netball Club and Santa Monica Spirits Netball Club.

Dr. Shelley Sykes who not only lost her beloved son Rory Sykes in the fires, all she has remaining is the clothes on her back. We've had other volunteers who also have homes they can't return to, so they are in immediate need of basic necessities, lodging, and other services and needs, such as laptops.

Your tax-deductible donation will go directly to help Dr Shelley Sykes and our other members and volunteers. Funds will be disbursed directly to those members and volunteers directly impacted. The funds will be distributed to assist them in purchasing meals, medications lost, hygiene products, lodging, phones/tablets/adapters lost, school supplies needed due to schools burnt down, undergarments etc.

We want to hear from other Netball America® members and volunteers who also need assistance at this time.

The Netball world wants Netball in the 2032 Olympics. For this to happen USA netball has to be a strong global contender. That's why Netball America® has created the Stripes to Stars Pathway to develop American athletes and coaches in line with top Netball playing countries.

Netball America® has created amazing opportunities for skill elevation and top-level competition in the USA and globally. The American Netball Team® recently came back from the Dubai International Netball event taking Gold for the mixed and Silver for the ladies. Next up the team is heading to the UK nationals, U.S. Open Netball Championships®, will host international teams here in the USA, and head back to Dubai with the aims of taking double gold in 2025.

Netball is a grass roots sports in the USA and so our athletes and coaches self-fund their own travel to train and compete.

We are asking you to join us in crafting the narrative of Netball excellence in the USA, imprinting an enduring legacy on the American sporting landscape, and together, let's get Netball on the Olympic program.

Campaign: Send The American Stars to the Dubai 7s International Netball Tournament!

Help us make history and support our incredible athletes as we gear up to send The American Stars Mixed & Women’s Teams to the prestigious Dubai 7s to represent Netball America! We are raising funds to cover travel expenses, accommodation, registration fees, and other essential costs for our talented netball teams to represent the United States on the global stage. With your generous contribution, we can make this dream a reality and showcase the strength of American Netball on the global stage.

Why Dubai 7s Netball International Tournament?

The Dubai 7s is an annual international sporting event held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is one of the most prestigious and highly anticipated tournaments in the world for several sports, including rugby sevens, netball, and cricket. This tournament provides an invaluable opportunity for the American Stars to compete against the best and gain exposure on an international platform. It is a chance for our athletes to showcase their skills, represent their country, and inspire future generations of netball players. Leading up to the event, our team is gearing up for domestic appearances, including the LALA Land Tournament hosted by LA Waves in September and the U.S. Open Netball Championships® in New Orleans this November.
