Help Save Tilly...Our Beloved Pup Needs You!

Meet Tilly, our playful and loving dog who has brought so much joy to our lives. Recently, Tilly was diagnosed with parvo, a serious and potentially life-threatening virus. She is currently undergoing treatment, but the costs have quickly added up to $3,000.

Tilly is a fun and playful girl. Her sweet personality and playful spirit have touched everyone who meets her. We are determined to give her the best chance at recovery, but we need your help.

19 Ringworm cats and kittens
Hi everyone, I am setting up a fundraiser for 19 foster cats and kittens that have ringworm. We started out with 3 kittens with ringworm and now have 19. This is a very verilent strain and the first 3 now have it again. Several have been to the vet and meds are expensive. We also feel we need to run a PCR test on several to make sure they are ringworm free once treated. We will be spending at least $200 per cat so $2500 won’t cover all of their treatment but will definitely help. We have two very dedicated volunteers taking care all 19.
We could really use your help in treating these babies. Thanks so much for your help.

Tiny little Turk needs your help
This is Turk, and he was found in a parking lot, fending for himself. He is only about 4 weeks old!

Turk was brought to Coweta County Animal Services and had severe swelling to his right eye and a protrusion in his jaw. It is possible that he escaped an attack, which caused the infected eye area. This sweet cat has been such a champ, but he'll need to have his eye removed, which will be a cost of roughly $1700 (surgery and recovery fees)

NCHS is helping him stay as pain-free and comfortable as possible while he gains weight and we gain funds for his surgery. If you're able to assist, no amount is too small!

UPDATE: Lyra went to the vet today for her check up. Her eye is progressively getting worse as we wait for the funds. We scheduled surgery for next Thursday, but due to our financial situation we will have to cancel if we are unable to raise them. Please say a prayer for our sweet girl, that we are able to move forward with surgery as planned.

This sweet Maine Coon mix came into our county shelter on Saturday. She is about 10 weeks old and going to have what is left of her eye removed.

We have seen way too many medical cases this year and it is not even June. Our medical funds are depleted to the point we need to raise funds before we can get her eye surgery so we are asking for your help.

We have decided to name her Lyra which means brave. Thanks to all of you that have donated in the past and those of you will donate to help Lyra.

Please Help Big Mack Be Pain Free
Please meet Newnan-Coweta Humane Society’s Big Mack.

This beautiful sweet boy was abandoned when his family moved and left him to fend for himself.

Not only should he have not been an outside cat due to his sensitive skin (being a white cat) he also has entropion. This is where his eyelids roll under and his fur rubs his eyes.

Mack has seen an eye doctor and will need surgery as soon as possible to stop the pain he has endured for all of his life. His surgery along with the tests done will cost $1500!

Because of the number of medical cases Newnan-Coweta Humane Society has already had this year we are not able to schedule Mack’s surgery until we have raised all the funds.

Our mission is to advocate for animals, support the community, and enhance pet/owner relationships through adoption and foster services, as well as spay/neuter programs. We focus on/help injured & sick animals that would otherwise be euthanized in County Animal Control. In addition to supporting our Foster network, our Pet Food/Supply Bank serves underprivileged families throughout Coweta County in hopes of helping them to keep and properly care for their pets, ideally, reducing the number of abandoned animals in our county. We also provide educational programs to assist residents in caring for and enjoying their pets.
