Help them compete at the VEX World Championships!
Ozias, Jonathon, Luke, Zoe, and Keenan make up team 8568A, from the North Andover Robotics club.
These kids are proof that hard work, grit, and sheer determination pay off. At the Southern New England VEX Regionals, their 2 days of competition were mixed with both frustration and success. Technical difficulties abounded but they never gave up. They made it to the quarter-finals where they were defeated by the (internationally ranked) team that won the tournament. They kept competing on the skills fields until literally the very last second and earned a skills ranking that qualified them to compete at the VEX World Championship in April. Look out Dallas…. they’re headed your way!
Team 8568A has been together for many years. They have won numerous awards over their high school careers, and took home both the Design and Excellence awards during the 2022-2023 VEX Robotics season. These kids aren’t just about robotics either. They represent North Andover and compete at the highest levels in band, DECA, track and crew.
We are looking to raise money to help fund their trip there to compete, as each is responsible for their own travel, lodging and meals.
We thank you for any donations or support you may be able to give. No donation is too small, and all donations will go directly to support our trip to Dallas. Even if you are not able to donate, please share this with family, friends, coworkers, and potential business sponsors.
We thank you for your support!
If you would like to donate $100 or more, please contact Kim Hearst directly.
For anyone donating $500 or more, we will include your business logo on our team banner which will be displayed at the competition.
Over 14,000 students take part in Worlds plus their families, chaperones, volunteers, and well-wishers!
