Neighbors Giving Thanks 2023
**Help us provide hearty, delicious food and meals to our neighbors this Thanksgiving season**
Hey there! We’re North Brooklyn Angels, a volunteer-powered non-profit in Brooklyn that has been feeding hot meals to the community since 2017. The Angels bring food to where the need is, through our mobile soup kitchen trucks, which now regularly serve over 1,800 hot, healthy meals a week at nine locations in North Brooklyn.
We’re excited to reignite our Neighbors Giving Thanks campaign, a project that provides a joyous and dignified Thanksgiving experience to folks that may not have a place, or the means, to celebrate. This includes:
- Distribution of ~1,000 frozen turkeys to families in need
- Preparation and distribution of over 1,000 delicious holiday meals at our regular community outposts Monday - Wednesday before Thanksgiving
- Coordinating four locations in North Brooklyn to serve over 500 sit-down Thanksgiving Day meals to our neighbors (with a pick-up option available for freshly packaged meals)

To make this happen, we definitely need your help! Your support means even more as food (and turkey!) costs have risen so much in the last few months.
