About Protective Animal Welfare Society (P.A.W.S.)

Our mission is to save the lives of homeless pets by changing the way our community views animal sheltering and shelter pets. By providing a new type of sheltering experience our goal is to change the publics perception that shelter pets are somehow different than the dogs already living in our community and to encourage the public to visit their local shelter and adopt rather than shop for their next family member. While our focus is working with and rehabilitating animals who have been the victim of cruelty and neglect, we are proud to be able to integrate our shelter animals with pets that already have their homes and to work with the public to help them understand that rescue pets make a great addition to any family.
