Radical Empathy Education Foundation (REEF) is a nonprofit committed to ending abuse, grooming, and human trafficking through immersive prevention education. We use virtual reality to create powerful, empathy-driven learning experiences that help people understand how exploitation happens—and how to stop it. Our award-winning VR program, TRAPPED: A VR Detective Story, allows users to embody the experience of a teenage girl being groomed by a trafficker. This emotionally engaging perspective helps learners recognize red flags and understand the emotional tactics used by predators. REEF equips trainees with the tools they need to recognize early warning signs and intervene before harm occurs. Prevention saves lives—and empathy opens eyes. Education is not just information—it’s protection.
