This story of LOVE seeking to overcome death, from the Plato telling via Striggio's text, is set to Monteverdi's sublime music will be recreated by the voices of RenChorNY commenting on Orpheus and Euridice, their wedding joy, while the principals describe their horror at the death of the bride, encourage- or block- Orpheus in his quest to overcome fate, and then accede, as the Gods allow, to it.
