Help us catch up on our vet bill New Year fundrais
Hi friends, join me in making a difference by supporting a good cause!
UPDATED TO BE AN END OF YEAR CATCH UP ON OUR VET BILL
In Animal Rescue, vet bills are a recurring challenge. If you can help, every dollar makes a difference to a local cat or dog who would otherwise be in Animal Control or worse.
This year, a few of my fosters required specialized care before their journey to a loving forever home could be completed. The cost of care to get an animal from homeless to healthy and ready for a forever home are usually more than what the adoption donation is. Some of our challenging cases this year included a nursing baby who needed expensive replacement formula, to eye and ear surgeries, kidney scans, laser therapy along with the regular expenses like neuters, spays, microchips, vaccines, food, medications, treats, toys, etc.
As animal lovers, advocates, rescuers, we put our hearts, time, sleepless nights, hope, work, money into helping cats and dogs throughout the year. We so appreciate the donations received so far and all future ones to come. Not only does it relieve a big financial burden to our Rescue, donations are also a huge pat on the back, big hug, encouragement that people support our efforts and care we do what we do. So thank you!! Happy New Year from Renko!! Please share (sharing is caring too ❤️.)
END OF UPDATE
Porkchop was left behind with no food or water. The sweet animal control officers that saved him from a bad situation called Renko to see if they could help him find the good future that he deserves.
We didn't hesitate. The moment his stray hold was up, we brought Porkchop home as a foster. He now has his very own collar, harness, leash and loads of toys! He LOVES toys!
Being under a year old, this guy has a full life ahead of him. He is a gentle soul that loves other dogs and has even made friends with the resident cat!
Porkchop needs some help. Unfortunately he has some medical issues that need to be fixed before he can be adopted. Since being in foster, he's been fully vaccinated, microchipped and will soon be neutered. Beyond the typical expenses, unfortunately Porkchop has what we suspect to be a uti or possibly kidney stones. He saw the vet today for an ultrasound of his bladder and urine analysis. He also has allergies that need to be treated. Vets are wonderful, but expensive! Which is why today I'm asking for your help!
Please give if you can to help us help Porkchop! Any amount is greatly appreciated. Rescue is a wonderful thing, but only possible if we can afford to give these dogs the best and deserved care. Food, transportation, equipment and vetting all costs, and much of the time comes straight out of volunteer's and foster's pockets. I LOVE helping dogs, and would really be so grateful for your donation!
If we are able to raise more than Porkchop's vet fees, any additional donations will go towards his adoption fee if needed. By sponsoring adoption fees, potential financial barriers for a great family are removed. If his future family doesn't need the sponsorship, the donations can help our next rescue baby! Every single penny we collect goes straight to our dogs! Words cannot express how much we appreciate your support! It literally let's us do what we do!
Our family has fostered many dogs through the past 6 years, and we feel lucky to be able to make a difference in the rescue world. We love Renko Animal Shelter because of the emphasis on helping LOCAL dogs and beliefs in individualized care. The right home is priority in all adoptions. Meticulous care reading applications, a detailed interview before placing a dog, and a perfect fit is a must!
Please help me help them! Foster, Volunteer, Adopt, Donate! Any donation will help make an impact!!!
Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
