Triathlons for our Special Operations Warriors
Our names are Dylan Savoie, Michael DeAngelis, and Rishi Toke. We are three high school seniors raising money for the Special Operations Warrior Foundation. We did it through a popular challenge called the 4x4x48 running challenge, and was slightly modified. We ended up doing two triathalons in 24 hours to recognize the work that special operations teams do in a variety of environments.

4x4x48 for Special Operations Warrior Foundation
The Special Operations Warrior Foundation provides educational support and opportunities for the surviving children of American Special Operators that have made the ultimate sacrifice. Additionally, they provide the same services to the children of all Medal of Honor Recipients. This nonprofit foundation supports complete post-secondary education from "cradle to career”.

This year, myself, a small group of friends, and men from the Theta Xi fraternity will be completing the 4x4x48 challenge to raise money for the foundation. The challenge will begin on March 22nd at 8pm EST. We will each be running 4 miles every 4 hours for a total of 48 hours, clocking in 48 miles total over the course of 12 runs (8pm 12am, 4am, 8am 12pm, 4pm etc.)

We are running to honor those who have courageously fought, those who continue to fight, and those who have laid down their lives for our freedom.

If we can't run, we will walk. And if we cannot walk, we will crawl- no matter what, we will be completing the challenge.

Warrior Fundraiser!
Hello everyone! My name is Stephen Johnston, last year I completed David Goggins's 4 x 4 x 48 challenge. It was a personal challenge to see if I measured up to even the start of a career in ultra running. This year I want to use the strength I've cultivated to help out those in need, and I have found 4 friends (Maybe more) willing to help as well. We will be starting the 4 x 4 x 48 challenge together on March 4th, 8pm pst. We chose the Special Operations Warrior Foundation out of respect for Goggins's mission, and to help provide a new life to those who lost their loved ones in the line of duty.

Operation: Ruck / Run
Operation: Ruck / Run is a campaign to fundraise based upon miles ran/rucked. 100% of the funds raised will be contributed towards the Special Operations Warrior Foundation.

The end goal is to raise $30,000 and run/ruck 2020 miles by 1 JAN 2021.

Hiking The Appalachian Trail
I am a retired Sergeant Major and a disabled veteran from Special Forces. I will be walking the Appalachian Trail (2,190 miles) with my daughter starting on March 1st, 2018. I will be raising funds for the Special Operations Warrior Foundation (www.specialops.org). 100% of the donations will go to the foundation and will be used in the following manner:

1. College scholarships for the surviving children of fallen Special Operations service members.
2. Family & educational counseling, including in-home tutoring.
3. Immediate $5,000.00 financial grants to severly combat wounded Special Operations service members.

I hope you will consider donating any amount for hiking the Appalachian Trail. I will be collecting donations from now through September 2018. Your generosity will be greatly appreciated.

There will be photo’s posted on my site as well as on the Special Operations Warrior Foundation site throughout the hike.

Tinsley's Trek
Capt John Tinsley was KIA on 12 Aug 09 in Afghanistan. He was serving on his first deployment as an Army Special Forces Detachment Commander. He is survived by his wife, and daughter, as well as his mother, father, and brother.

Every August since 2010 we have been putting together a motorcycle ride called Tinsley's Trek to honor John's memory and to live our lives to the fullest. Our MISSION each ride is to visit a National Cemetery to pay respects for those who have come before us.

This year will be our fourth year raising money for the Special Operations Warrior Foundation (SOWF) . I cannot think of a better organization to raise money for. They provide so many things to our fallen hero's family during their time of need. We ask that fund be donated by the end of August 2016.

John was a truly great man, your donation means so much to me and the rest of the Tinsley's Trek Family.
