The Student-Run Emergency Housing Unit of Phildadelphia (SREHUP), and its homeless shelter- known as Breaking Bread Community (BBC) -is an emergency shelter responding to the growing need for temporary housing for individuals that are homeless in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. SREHUP and BBC Includes comprehensive programs and services that promote self-sufficiency for families and individuals in an environment of dignity and caring. The Shelter is guided by a strategic plan and direction that believes homelessness is a lack of housing and that anyone homeless is ready to be housed.
