Great news... I have been selected as a delegate for the Tempe Sister Cities International Student Exchange during summer 2025. There are 27 Tempe delegates who will travel to 7 different countries. I am excited to be one of them!

I will be traveling to Lower Hutt, New Zealand for the first half of the summer to live with a family who has a daughter my age. Then, my New Zealand sister will travel with me to Tempe to spend the last half of the summer. We will experience each other's cultures, explore each other's countries, eat new foods, make friends, and learn to appreciate life around the world. It is a unique and life-changing exchange program. I'm so excited to have this experience!

Once back in the USA, we will participate in the Tempe Sister Cities summer program with the other 26 delegates and their international sisters/brothers from around the world. I am excited to share the USA with my New Zealand sister.

Tempe Sister Cities is a non-profit organization. Our summer program is funded solely by fundraising. Additionally, there are 29 other foreign delegates (from 10 countries) that will be coming to stay in Tempe after our stay in their country. Together we will visit many parts of Arizona and Southern California.

Hey, thanks for checking out my GoFundMe page! I'm so excited that Tempe Sister Cites chose me along with twenty five other high school juniors to be a part of their student exchange program this summer! I'll be staying in Regensburg, Germany for around three weeks with a student my age (and their family) who lives in the area. I've never been outside of North America before so I can't wait to experience what daily life is like in another part of the world.

Afterward, that same student will be staying at my house in Tempe, Arizona for roughly the same amount of time to see what it's like in the US. Tempe Sister Cities already has a ton of activities scheduled for all of the Tempe delegates and their exchange students so that we all have the opportunity to get together and make friends from all around the world. We'll be taking them to see the Grand Canyon, to Disneyland, and to the beach in California among other things. I already know this summer is going to be awesome and I highly recommend this program to anybody in Tempe who's a sophomore or below. Tempe Sister Cities does run on donations though so if you're able to donate any money at all I would really appreciate it. Also, if you really feel like it, you should go donate to the other Tempe delegates as well! Thank you so much!!

I am so excited to have been selected as a student delegate by Tempe Sister Cities (TSC) to represent Tempe, AZ in their Student Exchange Program this summer! I am writing to ask for your financial support to help the 2025 Student Exchange Program be a success. (tempesistercities.org)

I survived a competitive selection process and am one of 26 high school juniors from Tempe who were selected to travel to one of our 11 worldwide sister cities and live with a family for three weeks. I am going to CARLOW, IRELAND!

Carlow is in southeast Ireland, about an hour from Dublin. I can’t wait to see the beautiful green countryside and visit castles and ancient ruins! I’m even going to try to visit County Donegal, where my family was from.

I will be leaving in early June and returning the first week of July. Then my Irish host sister will come here for three weeks to live with my family and me in Arizona!

The TSC Student Exchange Program has many activities planned for our international sisters and brothers while they are in Tempe. We hope to take our delegation to the Grand Canyon and California, as well as show them the best of Tempe and Arizona. We are fundraising to cover these expenses for the Tempe and International delegates, and I am hoping you are able to donate.

The majority of the money we raise will come from contributions made by donors like you. All donations are tax-deductible and go directly to TSC’s Student Exchange Program. Tempe Sister Cities is a 501(c)3 organization.
