The Equality Alliance

Hey guys!  I have agreed to do one of the craziest things I've ever done - practice for months and perform in drag for the first time ever in front of 800 people!  Why in the world would I agree to do that??  Glad you asked!  All in the name of charity!  The Equality Alliance is a non profit in Austin Texas that has an annual event that raises money for 5 local charities that are on the front lines every day fighting for basic, human rights for the LGBTQ community.  

To make the event more fun for all - they have an amateur drag competition where we all compete for the title of Miss Unite The Fight 2019.  Your boy is one of those contestants and is coming in hot and needs your help! At least 1/3 of my score is how much I raise for these charities.  That's where you come in!  

If each of you just donated $20 - I would be in first place and put me in the prime spot to snag that crown!  In return - I promise I will do my part to give you the best damn show you've ever seen.  In a wig.  And HEELS!  Eeeek!

Join Boomer Banks and Pure for Men in raising critical funds forThe Equality Alliance ,  a 501 (c)(3) non-profit that provides support and financial aid to organizations that fight for equality and basic human rights for the LGBTQ community every..single...day. 

On September 21st, 2019 Boomer will be attending the annual Unite the Fight Gala hosted by Nina West. The goal of this event is to give support, financial aid and further the voice for these organizations that are on the front lines fighting for equality and basic human rights for the LGBTQ community. The charities that will benefit from your donations are Equality Texas, Kind Clinic, Transgender Education Network of Texas, Austin LGBT Chamber of Commerce, and Out Youth.

There are multiple ways you can lend a hand to help Boomer and Pure for Men achieve our fundraising goal:

The mission of The Equality Alliance is to give support, financial aid and further the voice for organizations that are on the front lines every day fighting for equality and basic human rights for the LGBTQ community.  Under The Equality Alliance umbrella, charities will not only receive funding but also exposure to new donors who may not be familiar with their work or mission.

It's not every day this guy puts on a wig, 10 pounds of make-up, six-inch heels and lip-synchs for his life in front of hundreds of people -- but that day is quickly approaching and I need a little help from you in order to make a BIG difference in the lives of others. 

In honor of my late mother who passed away after a short but strong fight against a devastating form of brain cancer this past January -- a woman who dedicated her life to helping those in need -- I'm stepping up to hopefully make a difference, too. 

On September 29th, I'm competing as one of six drag queens (yeah - this will be interesting) at the 2018 Unite the Fight Gala  taking place from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the Hilton in downtown Austin.

The purpose of this gala is to raise critical funds for The Equality Alliance,  a 501 (c)(3) non-profit that provides support and financial aid to organizations that fight for equality and basic human rights for the LGBTQ community every..single...day. 

This year's beneficiaries include some extraordinary organizations: 

- Austin LGBT Chamber of Commerce
- Equality Texas
- The Kind Clinic
- Out Youth 
- Transgender Education Network of Texas
