About The Richmond/Ermet AIDS Foundation

REAF is a grass-roots agency founded by two mothers who lost their only sons to AIDS as a way of honoring their sons' memories and of supporting all the other sons and daughters still living with HIV. Through the production of high-profile entertainment events, REAF helps bridge the gap in decreasing government and other private funding sources for local AIDS service agencies, promotes awareness about AIDS as well as the services provided by local agencies. REAF also supports advocacy that affects public policy, education for the prevention of, and research for a cure to AIDS/HIV. REAF also provides funding for hunger programs and programs that serve and support homeless youth.
