Help Save Camp Pico Blanco for Youth Leadership
In November 2023, White Stag Monterey was selected to become the stewards of Camp Pico Blanco, with a mission to preserve the historical redwood forest of Big Sur, ensuring future use for youth leadership, outdoor activities for our local community, and Scouting.
Prior to the selection, the property was at risk of being sold to developers and the majestic ecosystem of the Ancient Redwoods and Little Sur River could have been lost. However, now that White Stag Monterey has been awarded the awesome responsibility to manage and maintain Camp Pico Blanco, we are reaching out to our White Stag & Scouting families, friends, and Community to raise the remaining $1.3 million of the $2.3 million needed to complete the financial commitment through GoFundMe. We owe great thanks to those donors who have helped us raise the initial $1 million to date.
Due to timing constraints, we had to secure a short-term financing loan for the remainder, which is now due and payable. We are reaching out to you to help us preserve the amazing Camp Pico Blanco for year-round outdoor activities and leadership training. Please contribute and HELP us get the word out.
