To encourage youth in our community to help those in need this Ramadan, our weekly program Friday Night Live at The Prayer Center of Orland Park set up this fundraiser with Zakat Foundation of America to sponsor orphans. With your efforts in sharing this with friends and family and donating we will be able to reach & surpass our goal In Sha Allah. May Allah (SWT) accept from you!

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "I and the person who looks after an orphan and provides for him, will be in Paradise like this," putting his index and middle fingers together. (Sahih al-Bukhari 6005)

I ask Allah, the Very Merciful, the Most Merciful, to embrace her & shower her with His Infinite Mercy, give her peace and pardon her. Ya Allah, receive her with honor and make her grave a garden from the gardens of paradise... widen her grave as far as the eyes can see, place Your Light in her grave, & grant her good company in her grave. Ya Allah, grant Miriam success in the Hereafter... Make her among those who get Your Shade, Your Mercy, & Your Love! Ya Allah, wash her with water, snow, and ice & cleanse her of her faults like a white garment is cleansed of stains. Admit her into Your paradise and protect her from the torment of the grave and the fire. Ya Allah grant Miriam, her book of deeds in her right hand and elevate her to the highest level of paradise, Al-Firdous without judgement, for You are the Most Merciful, the Most Gracious, the Most Generous.

I would like to build water wells in her name as a SADAQA JARIYAH (Prepetual Charity) on her behalf. Miriam Zayed was one of the strongest, most intelligent, head strong, disciplined, hardworking woman I know. I am blessed to call her my friend. I will never forget you Habebtee. May Allah honor you!
