Over the past two years we have been working with the organizations C2C , NWDC Resistance, and Familia Unidas Por La Justicia in Bellingham, WA to co-author a documentary focusing on their fight for farmworker and immigrant justice.
Our film will focus not only on the organizations and their efforts, but the tools they use which produce strong community work, towards long term liberation. As we have formed close relationships with the leaders and members of these movements, our film will balance between intimate portraits of powerful individuals leading this fight, as well as depictions of the major history, beats, and future goals of the groups we work with. By focusing on the path that has led to powerful action, and the road ahead, we hope to offer not only hope, but tools to realize that hope, for all those fighting for justice today.
