Welcome to the #10ForChangeChallenge and Thank-you for Your Support

The #10ForChangeChallenge is a powerful movement designed to provide funded Learning Pathways, Employment Opportunities and Better Economic Outcomes, while truly EMPOWERING African-Americans towards a better future.  

At the heart of the #10ForChangeChallenge Movement is our Crowdfunding Campaign. Our Goal is to raise $2.6 million dollars and to Create 1000 Full-Tuition African-American Scholarships by December 25, 2020. However, WE NEED YOUR HELP if we are to truly make a difference by creating 1000 x Black Scholarships each worth $2600 for people of color.

Recent political events in the US and #BlackLivesMatter have created the perfect timing for us to join together and help create change while re-building the bridge on the racial divide that has continued to undermine our great nation. As such, we want to invite you to become part of our movement that is the #10ForChangeChallenge.  By working together can we instigate meaningful and long-lasting change that helps close the gap for African-Americans when it comes to Educational, Employment and Economic Outcomes. That’s why we need your help to contribute to our campaign and to share this story with as many Americans as possible.



OUR INSPIRATION


Did you know that UNCF.org states that only 45.9% of Black students complete their college degrees in six years? This is the lowest rate compared to other races and ethnicities in the US. This high dropout rate is partially due to the fact that 65% of African-American college students are independent, meaning they must balance pursuing a degree with full-time work and family responsibilities.

That is why we need to work together to help provide Flexible Learning Pathways and fully-funded Educational Opportunities for African-Americans.  We are inspired and driven to help create 1000 x Black Scholarships over the next 5 weeks, as part of our 3 Year Plan to crowdfund 10,000 plus scholarships for people of color in the United States.


GETTING INVOLVED IN THE #10FORCHANGECHALLENGE?

Our #10ForChangeChallenge Movement includes everyone from Corporate America, to Celebrity Influencers, to Sports Stars and Sporting Organizations and to anyone who considers themselves to be a ‘change-maker’ and ‘action-taker’.

…and we most definitely want to include you.

We know from Black Lives Matter that when a lot of people create a ripple…that a movement can become a tidal wave…

and that’s why we need your support to help get this done!

So that's why we have made getting involved in the #10ForChangeChallenge very easy. 

We would invite you to donate $10 or more if you can…..and then share your challenge and our GoFundMe Page Link on Social Media to 10 of your friends, family members, or work colleagues to match…or even beat your donation.

In helping us to achieve our Crowdfunding Campaign Goal…you will help us to be able to provide an amazing Christmas present to so many deserving African-Americans in the form of one of our African-American Scholarships.

In addition to contributing to such a great cause, we want to invite you to take part in some of the rewards that we are offering as part of our #10ForChangeChallenge Program. 


CAPTURE THE SPIRIT AND GET REWARDED

You or your work team can join in the fun and capture the spirit of the #10ForChangeChallenge Movement.

We would invite you or your business team members to create your own Viral Video to share on Social Media.

We will then select the Most Inspiring, Most Creative or the Funniest Video to win ONE of 10 Prizes worth $1000, with the winning video getting $2000. You or your team will also get one of these awesome #10ForChangeChallenge T-Shirts.




If you or your organization would like to sponsor One or More of our Scholarships worth $2600 each, then we would like to offer you the honor of having one or a number of these scholarships after you or in the name of your business organization.

You may also wish to nominate employees or team members for the scholarship in your business entity's name. In doing so you can benefit from having someone in your team upskill their Digital Marketing or Business and Leadership Qualifications.

Similarly, you or your organization will be given the opportunity to tap into the talent pool of graduated students to join your business as an intern or as an employee.

Additionally, as a thank-you for your financial support for the #10ForChangeChallenge and your commitment towards helping close the gap for African-Americans, we commit to work with you to benefit from our National Media and PR strategy.

WHAT WILL THE FUNDS BE USED FOR?

Our goal is to raise $2.6 Million and to fund 1000 African-American Scholarships by December 25 2020.

Each scholarship is valued at $2600 and each scholarship will cover the FULL tuition course fee for each student with our Educational partner SimpliLearn.

Each Scholarship for $2600 and will include:

·       A full One-year Course Instruction with our educational partner Simplilearn

·       An Opportunity to participate in a Black Mentoring Program with successful entrepreneurs and business owners

·       Access to a Career Counselling Program to help Graduates to become “job-ready”

We believe that such a scholarship program is truly ground-breaking, by helping each student to make a successful transition from education to meaningful employment.


WHO CAN I APPLY FOR A SCHOLARSHIP?

In year 1 of we will offer 1000 full-ride scholarship to students in the field of Digital Marketing Specialist with our Educational Partner – SimpliLearn.

Digital Marketing in particular, is promising to be one of the fastest-growing career opportunities….and most in-demand by employers post Covid -19. Indeed, Forbes Magazine reports that “89% of all companies have already adopted a digital-first business strategy.” 

As such we would invite any African-American over the age of 18 to apply for one of these 1000 Full-ride Scholarship positions.

You may be already in the workforce and wanting to re-skill or re-train into Digital Marketing...

Or perhaps you are planning to study at college but cannot afford the tuition fees or cannot qualify for a scholarship program.

Maybe you are already studying at college and would like a more flexible learning path, in a field of study that will have high demand in the years to come.
