Stem Cell's for Jeff

Jeffrey Lewis is more than a great friend, he is my former husband and a loving family man with a beautiful wife and 3 children. In October, he was diagnosed with Stage 3 Multiple Myeloma Cancer and is in need of Stem Cell Treatment. He has already undergone 6 rounds of chemo and is in a good position for the Stem Cell Treatment. The problem now is that his insurance company will not cover the treatment and the expense for the transplant and one month sterile hospital stay is about $250,000 and the need is urgent for his survival. I know it is unusual for a former wife to play a helping role, yet the relationship I have with Jeff has grown to such levels of respect and compassion for the choices we made over the years. He and his wife, Holly have so much to deal with and I want to help them in any way I can. Since Jeff told me about his Cancer, it has given me a fight to help that I may not have done when we were together and that was 13 years ago. I hope this message will help raise the monies needed for Jeff's Stem Cell Treatment and also give those some hope that even if a marriage does not last, a friendship can.
