On June 4th, 2016 , Michael Bennett was involved in a very serious single car crash in his Lightning Sprint at I-76 Speedway Fort Morgan, CO. He flipped many times and the car was cut up to extract him. He was airlifted to Swedish Hospital in Denver and underwent spinal surgery Sunday morning. The surgery went well. He is self employed and is likely to be out of work while recovering. He, and the track have insurance, but as well all know, their are always gaps that need to be filled. This fund is being established to help his family with those medical bills .
