Formally known as Caring with Compassion, we have a name change and a new vision. Thank you to all the generous people who supported the building of a girl's Dormitory in Uganda. It was opened on April 28th 2017 with great singing and praising.
I have since spent another 6 weeks in Uganda, and spent most of that time at Hope and Care Primary school; a school with 120 students, inadequate buildings and very limited resources (I only saw 2 children's books in the school in the time I was there.) The families in the village have very little money to pay their fees, so are unable to send their children to school regularly.
The teachers earn Aus $38 a week, below the poverty line of Aus $50.
My aim is to raise $50 000 to rebuild the school, and to resource it with all the necessary items which we take for granted. A school where the children will receive a high quality education, enabling them to either go on to higher education, or to learn a trade.
Can you be a part of the lives of these children? Can you enable them to have what is the right of every child?
Give generously to make this happen for these delightful children.
