Memorial Fund for Jonathan Cardoso

Jonathan Cardoso, beloved brother of Aniyah Cardoso (in 4th grade at Mather Elementary) and Julia Cardoso and treasured son of Elizabeth Cardoso, died suddenly and tragically on Tuesday evening, 9/20.

Elizabeth, Aniyah, and Julia and all of their family and Jonathan's many, many friends are in shock and grieving the loss of this sweet young man, who lit up their lives and any room he entered. Aniyah will miss growing up with the big brother who doted on her, Julia will miss having her little brother by her side at her wedding next year, and Elizabeth is enduring a loss that is too much for any mother. 

The family needs support during this time to help with travel and housing for family members who are traveling from Cape Verde to Boston to honor Jonathan, as well as to defray costs for the funeral and lost wages. Elizabeth works full time in addition to running her own business, and she has had to take time off from both during this extremely difficult time.
