I am an 8th grade U.S. History teacher in the heart of downtown Los Angeles. I am raising money for my outstanding 8th graders who are hoping to visit our nation's capital for an exhiliriating educational field trip. All of the proceeds will be used to fund their travel costs. The deadline to pay their dues is January 2017! Most of my students have never been outside of Los Angeles and are often underserved and underrepresented in our educational system. My students are one of a kind, dedicated and deserving of this incredible opportunity. Over the next three months the students and I will be working dilligently to ensure every single one of them will be able to enjoy this once in a lifetime opporutnity.
