3 Tigers on Tour for Canada

Since the age of six, Rowan Closs, Andrew Neveu, and Cole Harris have been committed to the game of rugby. Each began their journey at different local clubs—Ajax, Oshawa, and Brock—before uniting in 2019 to play for the USS Tigers and Brock Rugby Club in Sunderland. Together, they achieved remarkable success, winning multiple LOSSA championships, a TRU East club title, and earning silver and bronze finishes at OFSAA. They also won a National U-19 Championship with Ontario in 2024.

Along the way, they proudly represented their province and country at various age levels and even played a season together for the Durham College Lords, winning OCAA Bronze.

Now, for the first time, all three will represent Canada as members of the U20 Men's Rugby Team, embarking on a journey to Fiji for a series of international matches against the formidable rugby powerhouses of Fiji, Tonga, and Samoa. Starting with a training camp on Vancouver Island from May 11-21, they will departure for Fiji May 22-June 9

It’s an incredible achievement for any player from a small town to reach this level—but to have three friends and teammates from Uxbridge achieve this together is truly extraordinary.

This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity comes with a significant cost. The tour is estimated at $5,000 per player, and we are seeking support from family, friends, local businesses and larger corporate sponsors to help cover expenses.
