**update** My father is healing from the fall. He is needing extensive physical therapy and will most likely be needing surgery for displaced muscles in his arm and legs. Furthermore, specialists are very expensive with minimal insurance so to see if his lung mass is cancerous is going to take a toll. Any donations here on out are purely going towards medical bills, medications, and transportation to all the appointments over the bridge. Please read, share, and donate if you are in a position to. Thank you everyone. ************* ************* This evening a friends dad fell into a well. They are already going through hard times & need some help from our amazing community & friends. They need to have a place to go after getting out of the hospital. His daughter wrote this plea for them. Please read and share. Thank you. "My family is going through such a hard time right now. With my mother getting laid off due to the minimum wage increase, her work outsourced to out of state, and this led their mortgage payment not getting paid. I was raised in the house and my siblings created countless memories there. Our elderly dogs have lived here for over a decade and need to stay with my family. They are family. Unfortunately, to avoid the foreclosure they did a short sale and had 21 days to pack up 20+ years of memories. Today, the day before we all have to be out...my father, Lee Dodge, was grabbing a tool box out of our well room (100 year old, 30 ft deep well) when the floor broke beneath him and he fell and injured himself badly. We are in Tacoma general hospital waiting on his X-ray and ct scan results. Please anything you can do to help my family, we need it! We need a miracle! We are good people to our community and just want to have somewhere warm to sleep with our pups while trying to find a place to rent with the family pups."
