Jeremy Continues His Fight Against Colon Cancer
Donativo protegido
My beloved Jeremy, my husband, was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer at the age of 44. Since his diagnosis, there has been an exhaustive attempt to determine the cause of his cancer, but there are no familial links or any other obvious answers to aid his medical team. All during this time, he has endured grueling surgeries, procedures, tests and repeated chemo therapies in an effort to fight and stay alive. He has braved everything demanded of him, and continues to, with a husband’s, father’s, and warrior’s loving heart.
Despite everything that has been tried, Jeremy’s liver function and quality of life are now declining rapidly. His cancer continues to progress. We are now seeking out clinical trials in hopes that they may be of some benefit and offer him with a bit more time.
We are a family of three, me - Meg, Jeremy, and our eighteen-year-old son, Kai. We are all struggling with cancer’s impact; all that it robs from you; everything you must clearly stare at, squarely in the face, and attempt to deal with. These are extremely difficult times, in so many ways, but we still attempt to maintain hope for more answers and possible treatments for Jeremy.
We are reaching out to you with our story, in hopes that you may offer up your prayers, white light, and positive thoughts for Jeremy and our family and, if possible, offer a donation to help with the overwhelming and continuing medical costs. May you be blessed, and we thank you.
