07-Sep-2024: Update from the family & friends
After an extensive delay with paperwork, Ram's cremation was finally completed on Friday, September 6th at 5 PM by Patterson Cremation Services at 8560 Arlington Expressway.
This was a witness cremation, allowing 15-20 people in accordance with hospital guidelines. Hence a small gathering to honor Ramaraj's life will be organized at the earliest.
The family is now arranging to send his cremated remains to India for further rituals and is also working on settling financial matters here in USA. They are planning for the return of Anusha and Akshra to India in the coming weeks with the support of friends and well-wishers.
Ram’s family is deeply grateful for everyone's continued support. Thank you for your continued support.

Dear Friends,
We are deeply saddened by the sudden passing of our dear friend, Ramaraj Sivanuthevar (36). He was a beloved husband, father, and friend. As the sole breadwinner for his family, Ramaraj's unexpected departure has left his wife and his 3-year-old daughter facing an uncertain future.
He went through a vascular surgery (IOTA - Intraoperative open transluminal angioplasty) at the UFHealth Medical Center, Gainesville on Monday, 19 Aug 2024 where he had multiple complications during recovery that impacted his brain functions and eventually passed away around 4 PM EDT today (21 Aug 2024, Wednesday).
Ramaraj's family has been living in Jacksonville, Florida for the past 5 years. They recently moved into their new home in the Greenland Chase area with a lot of dreams. Ramaraj comes from a humble family in Tirunelveli, Tamilnadu.
As Ramaraj's family navigates this tragic loss, we are reaching out to friends, family, and the wider community to support his family. The sudden expenses associated with Ramaraj's passing, including medical bills, funeral costs, and other unforeseen financial burdens, have placed an enormous strain on the family during an already heart-wrenching time.
Jacksonville Tamil Mandram (JTM), a non-profit organization in the Jacksonville area, is facilitating this campaign on behalf of Ramaraj's family and friends. We humbly ask for your assistance to help ease this burden. Any contribution, no matter how small, will go directly towards alleviating these expenses and helping the family find some peace during this difficult time.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and for keeping Ramaraj's family in your thoughts and prayers.
