Helping Evie's Family

At 6 years old, Evalise McLean, known to those of us who loved her dearly as Evie, passed away so suddenly. A victim of bacterial meningitis - the kind we've had our children vaccinated against, including Evie. How can this happen to such an exuberant, spirited, smart, and beautiful child? Her contagious smile captured us all and her whit kept us laughing. What can we do when there are no words to express the amount of grief we are feeling? We can hug our children tight, tell them and everyone else how much we love them...all the time, over and over.

It's impossible to think of the pain that Evie's parents and brother are enduring. There is no way to relieve that pain but we can help. We can be there for them, whenever they need us, for whatever they need. We can also donate money to help alleviate the additional stress that accumulating medical bills/burial costs can cause.

While the family focuses on spending their last few moments with Evie, I'd like everyone to consider donating whatever they can to help support the family in their time of need. Thank you with all my heart!
