Medical Bills for Nya Ricks
Donativo protegido
Dear Friend,
This letter of request is being sent to you regarding one of my closest friends from college and her family. On Friday, October 18th, my girlfriends' daughter, Nya Ricks was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). AML is cancer of the bone marrow. We are on a journey with Nya. She has endured intense radiation therapy and several courses of chemo to attack the AML.
Nya exudes extraordinary charisma for a young girl of ALMOST seven. Since her diagnosis her family works each day to maintain their footing and support Nya in her fight against AML. Nya's mom Lindsay, a school teacher at the Stanley G. Falk School for over a decade, has been forced to take an indefinite leave of absence. Her father Moe, a commercial painter, has only recently returned to work. Nya also has an older brother Jayden who's day-to-day radically changed with his sister's diagnosis.
Family, friends and loved ones will host a "Keep Smiling" Nya Ricks Leukemia Benefit on March 23rd, 2014 at The Buffalo History Museum.
Help us to make Nya's benefit a success, as the family is encountering mounting medical and household bills. Baskets, gifts and auctions will be features of the fundraiser. Please consider donating to us from your company gift certificates/cards, or a gift basket of your company's product. All donations big and small will be accepted and appreciated.
If you would like to make a monetary donation, please follow the link on the attached email.
Thank you for your consideration, your support means a great deal to the Ricks family.
