Hello, I want to tell you about ourselves. With you are Mira Raad Khader Qandil and my brother, who is two years younger than me. Ahmed Raad Khader Qandil. We are residents of Gaza. I want to tell you about our story so that you can help us donate to us to save us from death. Before the war, we were students at Al-Aqsa University. I am studying software engineering and my brother is studying. We majored in accounting. We lived a beautiful life. We went to our university every day to achieve our dream of education and getting a job after graduation. We aspired to do future projects and have a name in our society.
We had a beautiful family that supported us. My father had a shop where he worked to help us with our education. He lost it in the war, just as we lost our house. My older brother had an office and he also lost it. We were living the most beautiful life.
But when Mushroom Day came, the seventh of October 2023, our suffering began here and we lost our dream of completing our education and our ambition. We lived in Gaza, the Tal Al-Hawa area, the Happiness Towers. Since the beginning of the war, we were displaced from our home and did not take anything with us. The order to evacuate the house came quickly and we fled from fear.
And here the displacement journey began. The first area we were displaced to was the Nuseirat area, and we stayed there for 3 months. We lived in a basement to not see the sunlight and did not get adequate hygiene. We slept on the ground and did not have heavy clothes. It was winter, and we found it difficult to breathe because the place had no windows. We were suffering from Our access to water and food, everything has become cut off, so we cannot get anything, and if we have a simple amount of food to live on, we find it difficult to prepare it because there was no gas to prepare food. My mother used to make food for us on firewood, and the fire used to light it on waste leaves, and she also became She has shortness of breath due to the fire, and she suffers from cartilage in her back due to sleeping on the ground. For 3 months of suffering from everything, we became seriously ill, me and all my family members. We lived in an area that was not free of bombing and shooting, and more than once we escaped death, as the occupation was bombing homes next to the place. Where we were, we were living in a state of terror and fear, and not even a month after the war had passed, the news of the bombing of our house here came. It was devastation for us, as all memories were in this house.
After 3 months of anxiety and fear, the occupation ordered us to move out of Nuseirat, the area we were in. So we decided to move with my family and I to an area called Al-Sawarha on the Gaza Sea, also in Nuseirat. We suffered from having a place to move to, and we were not in this place for 3 days without the occupation ordering us to move out again. We were suffering from the road fare, as it was very expensive, and we had no money to pay it, and also there was no money to get food, as it was very expensive. When the occupation ordered us to leave, we were displaced on foot, walking distances from one area to another, our hearts full of fear, terror, and the feeling of death at any moment, and we were displaced. For the third time, in the Al-Qarara area in Khanios, we found a land where there were no protection structures and we set up our tent
We were forced to live in fear and insecurity, and in this area there was no market to sell food. The market was very far away in the Rafah area, and if we could arrange money for food, we could not arrange money for transportation to go to the market. My father, who had suffered from polio since childhood, and my sisters used to go to the market on foot, and it was a long distance. They go from 8 in the morning, they return at 8 in the evening, and we start making food at night in the dark, which consists of water and onions from which we make soup. This was our situation in the Al-Qarara area. We lived there for a month, and then the unjust occupation ordered us to evacuate again, and we had to leave to save our lives. It was harmful for us to stay in fear. Until my father found another place to save his children’s lives, and after suffering, he found a camp in Rafah and we went at 10 pm under bombardment and tanks. We arrived exhausted and tired. We now lived in a small tent for a family consisting of 8 members, in which we could not move comfortably.
There was no bathroom. We used to go long distances to relieve ourselves, and we also walked long distances to get salty and sweet water. We began to live in a place other than our place. We became on the street with nothing. We lost our home, my father’s place, and our last office. We lost our right to education. My sisters and I remained in Rafah for 4 months, suffering from everything from food. And water, and due to the lack of clothes, even in the atmosphere, our faces became pale and lost their beauty, and we became like a dead rose. We faced people who were too bad to sleep, so we were afraid because we were in the street, and the bombing was every day, and the occupation threatened to enter Rafah every moment, and after 4 months of suffering in a tent, the occupation ordered us to move again, and it was The sixth time we went down and we went to a camp in Zawaida. We are experiencing the same suffering since the beginning of the war. Therefore, I hope that you will help us get out of this country to save my soul and that of my family. Therefore, in the beginning, we need a sum of money of 10,000 dollars. My brother and I, Ahmed, and I, to travel outside the country to complete my education, and after that we need 10. 000 dollars to obtain our expenses in Egypt, enter a university, and stabilize ourselves. After that, we need 30,000 dollars so that we can leave our family from this country and this war. I need an amount of 50,000 dollars to save my life for me and my family. Therefore, I hope that you will donate to me and help me spread my campaign to the largest number of people. Contributors and donors to save me and my family
