Two weeks before Christmas our community lost three precious little girls who were daughters of three awesome sisters. The mother of one of the children was driving and road conditions caused her vehicle to hit a cargo truck head on. We are a village of 800 people. The loss was devastating and unimaginable for most of us. We have come together as a community to build a memorial playground / park to honor and memorialize these little angels, while the mother who was driving recovers from a traumatic brain injury. Our dream is to build "Angels Island" in memory of Lydia - Age 11, Laynie - Age 5, and Little Clara - also age 5. In an attempt to turn this tragic situation into something permanent so these children will never be forgotten is the dream of our neighborhood.
