Katie-Anne was diagnosed at 2.5 with Stage IV Neuroblastoma. She is currently 9.5. She is stable and still having scans every few months. She will never be cancer free but with the grace of God, stay stable.
She is missing ribs 1-5 and a third of her sternum on her right side. She is missing ribs 6&7 on her left side and you can feel her actual heart beat through her skin and layer of tyvek protecting it.
She has hearing loss in both ears and wears hearing aids (most days ).
She has fake teeth in the front as her adult teeth have no roots and at falling out as she grows. When she is bout 16 or 17, she will need a complete set of implants. She has an amazing team that try and keep her feeling as normal as she can while she navigates through life.
She is pure joy and love and everything happiness personifies.
We still have about 50k in bills with an additional 12k every year. We chip away at it as we can, but appreciate any help. More importantly, prayers for continued healing and for her to stay cancer free is the most important.
