Hello, Thank you for stopping by to read our story. Jawz and Franki Spain are two junior pool players that love to compete, Jawz is 11 and Franki is 9 they are both honor roll students. Their passion for pool has them spending hours practicing to perfect their craft. When Jawz is not practicing, he is helping his dad coach billiard students. Jawz and Franki play in multiple junior tournaments and are also a part of a traveling junior pool tour called the Junior International Championship (JIC) and compete against the best junior pool players from all over the country. This is the second season of the JIC, the tour travels to multiple states across the country the kids compete for prizes and points. Jawz is currently in 1st place for the 13 and under boys division and Franki is in 7th place for the 13 and under girls division. For the 18 and under boys division, the top 16 will get a chance to compete at the International Open in Norfolk Virginia in November. Jawz is currently in 15th place. The JIC is scheduled to be held in 8 states this season with plans to expand to additional states next season. So far, there are 5 JIC stops remaining and Jawz and Franki would love to attend. To compete at such a high level, travel expenses, lodging and tournament fees are very expensive with two kids traveling to multiple states . Jawz will also be representing Maryland at the APA Junior Nationals in St. Louis in July. We are raising money to help with travel expenses for the remainder of the junior season and to help with travel next season, this will help to keep them on their journey doing what the love.
