Hit by Drunk Driver. HELP Mackie and Cassie.

Help our daughters get through this terrible tragedy .
On September 29th, 2020 our daughters Mackie James and Cassandra Arwood were returning from Ohio and headed back to Knoxville, TN when they were hit by a drunk driver. Their car was forced down a 30ft embankment rolling several times before coming to a stop. They were less than one mile away from home. Both girls had their seatbelts on. It took around 45 minutes to remove Cassandra from the vehicle. The drunk driver walked away from the crash and was arrested at the scene.
Mackie has broken ribs and a broken collarbone. Her wrist was broken on both sides. She had a broken elbow and she had two breaks to her arm with one being a compound fracture. She has 3 degree burns to her foot. Cassandra has a broken femur, she has multiple breaks in her pelvic bone, broken ribs and had internal injuries. Both girls, will be having their third surgeries today.
As parents, we're counting every single blessing. Our girls are ALIVE but will have a uphill recovery. Cassandra is a hairdresser with no health insurance. It will be months before she will be able to work. Mackie will also be unable to work for months at her job at Texas Roadhouse. Because someone made a choice to drink and drive, our girls will have such a hardship.
This GoFundMe is one that as her parents, we approved.
Any monetary gifts will go straight into Mackie's account and will be shared with Cassandra. We are truly grateful for any amount received. We understand that so many people are struggling with finances so if you can't afford to help, please keep them in your prayers. We raised some pretty tough girls. They're fighters so please continue to pray as they keep fighting.

They have a long way to go. It's been surgery after surgery for them both. They need more prayers and more shares. Thank you so much for all your support so far.
