Rocky and Leigh Thompson need our help!
Rocky has diabetes and he has lost sight in one eye and can see only shadows and movement from the other. He needs surgery and has a 50/50 chance of helping his failing sight hopefully will stop the process of loss, however the longer he has to wait the more sight he losses and won't get back. HE MUST get this process completed and surgery scheduled ASAP.
Some medical needs are being covered by medicaid and assistance (but not all expenses are covered) and their financial needs are overwhelming. They have given up all but their cell phone. They have had to cancel their internet which makes it difficult as much of their paper work and communications are being done by internet. Snail mail slows the process down even more and Leigh can not make it to the library because of her work schedule. With Rocky not working they have lost $1200 a month in income and are struggling and unable to cover their daily living expenses so they are following behind rapidly with rent, car payments, insurances, with no money for co-pays, gas, special foods, etc. A fund raiser is needed for their financial relief of Rocky's loss of income if nothing else.
Rocky and Leigh now rent a place in North Conway--Rocky was born and raised in Fryeburg!!
Rocky has always helped everyone out when they have been in need--now it is our turn to help he and Leigh...
