Thomas Johnson Fights ALS

Donation protected
On January 21, 2014 I was diagnosed with ALS. ALS stands for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. This is a disorder that attacks the motor neurons in the brain and spinal cord. This causes the inability to properly control muscle movement.

This disease is deadly and has slowly tortured me. First, stripping me of my ability to provide and function normally with my family. Before ALS, I played sports for Southeast High School, Bacone University and Langston University. I graduated and had been working in the oil field.

I currently cannot do anything for myself and am dependent on the care of my wife, family, and friends. I cannot eat, shower, or even walk by myself any longer. This is becoming more and more difficult for daily functions especially with my three boys.

The donations will go towards providing a personal care taker, medical bills, and supplies.

Thank you.
